Virginia Ann Atkinson Death & Obituary: Sad news has come to light as we report the passing of Ms. Virginia Ann Atkinson, affectionately known as “Miss Ginny,” who departed this world on August 2, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on November 12, 1963, Miss Ginny was a cherished member of the Benedictine Military School community and a dedicated employee of SAGE Dining Services.

A Commitment to Service

Miss Ginny was known for her tremendous work ethic and patience, qualities that shone brightly throughout her tenure at Benedictine. Her love for the Cadets was especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she and her SAGE teammates worked tirelessly to prepare meals for the Cadets. Whether meals were delivered to their homes or picked up on campus, Miss Ginny ensured that the students were well taken care of during a challenging time.

“Ginny will be greatly missed,” expressed Benedictine Headmaster Fr.
