In 2016, Toni transitioned to Acadian Air Med, where she served as a certified flight registered nurse and flight paramedic. Her exceptional skills and leadership qualities led to her promotion as Chief Flight Nurse and Education Supervisor.
In this role, Toni was responsible for overseeing critical aspects of education and training within Acadian Air Med. Her duties included managing CAMTS education and credentialing requirements, ensuring RN clinical practice clearance, and overseeing Air Med’s blood program. Toni’s dedication to her role and her unwavering commitment to improving patient care set a high standard for her colleagues and the entire emergency medical services community.

Toni Blanchard’s impact extended far beyond her professional achievements. As Program Director Marc Creswell fondly remembered, “Toni was the heart and the den mother of Air Med. She was always there for her staff to discuss problems or concerns while also helping each staff member keep themselves held to the highest expectations of performance. Her biggest impact on Air Med was taking orientation and training to its highest level, and the benefactors were the patients we serve, the community, the flight crews, and Air Med as a whole. Some people can go through life wondering if they made a difference. But not Toni, she made the biggest difference.”
