Patricia Edwards Death & Obituary: Gresham, August 22, 2024 – Patricia Huggins Edwards, age 73, has passed away peacefully at her home in Gresham on August 20, 2024. Known affectionately as “Tish,” Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
A Life of Service and Care
Born on December 9, 1950, in Mullins, South Carolina, Patricia dedicated many years to serving her community through her work with the Judge of Probate Office in Marion County. Her commitment extended beyond her career into her retirement, where she continued to support and care for families in need. Patricia was also a passionate dog lover, cherishing her four-legged companions throughout her life.

Survived by Loving Family
She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Edwards, Jr., and her children: David Owens (Misty), John Owens, and Emily Owens. Her grandchildren, AnnaClaire Owens, Carrington Owens, Lucy Owens, Liam Yang, and Elizabeth Yang, were a great source of joy in her life. Patricia also leaves behind her father, James F. “Jim” Huggins, her brother, Jimmy Huggins (Shannon), and a close-knit circle of friends.
A Farewell and Celebration
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Reverend Art Ramsey, honoring Patricia’s impactful life and her contributions to those around her.
